Who they are: LO-FI comics & entertainment magazine has been spotlighted by the Miami Herald and City Link Magazine, listed as one of Star Telegram's top 26 "Cultural Cool" magazines of 2004, and received raves and plugs on several radio stations. In little less than a year and with fewer than three issues under its belt, LO-FI has merged with larger publishing house Urban Robot and is due to relaunch in August 2005 with global distribution. It has been LO-FI's mission to be " Where counter culture collides with pop culture," covering hot new trends in clothes, anime, games, toys, and movies with a particular focus on Indie comic books & music. LO-FI, having been available on news-stands and in direct-market comic stores since its inception, promises not to disappoint their new and larger readership. As long as culture is happening, LO-FI will be there to cover it and to impress their readers with wicked good articles.
